Located in downtown. This place hit exactly what we were looking for. As soon as we walked into the door we were greeted and asked to sit anywhere. The staff was very friendly. The food and drinks didn't take long at all. We had the fried pickles for an appetizer, they were fresh and really good, just slightly on the salty side. My wife loved her shrimp wrap and my burger was great! This is definitely a place I would recommend if in town and wanted a quick bit to eat.

Whoever owns this place should be proud. It is apparent that someone has put their heart and soul into this pub. The food was delicious. We got fried spicy shrimp, hot wings, the big popper burger, sweet potato fries, and some tenders for the toddler.
Everything was made fresh and crunchy, salty, perfectly seasoned. We had some blue moons and modelos, they were cold. The service was great, and food came out quick. We are from out of town so we didn’t know what to expect here but I really enjoyed it. The wings were crunchy and so were the sweet potato fries. The burger was amazing. Bathrooms very clean!!! My kid loved her little kids meal.

We ordered the sweet potato fries and cheese curds. They were both very savory and fresh. The marinara sauce that came with the curds seemed home made: delicious! We had two drinks: the old fashioned and some lemonade with whiskey and blueberry syrup. The old fashioned had buffalo trace: definitely can tell the difference and was strong. The lemonade you can taste the whiskey just unsure which one they used but was sweet. Then we ordered the rodeo panini and the panic at the frisco. The rodeo was smokey and cheesy! The jalapeño spread gave it a nice flavor but not spicy at all! I cannot tolerate much heat so I can say with certainty it is not spicy. Honestly tasted like a dill pickle sauce of some sort. The Frisco was so delish! That home made sauce and jam work so good together! The meat was falling off the sourdough, the sourdough was so crispy yet buttery 🤤 🤤🤤 the cheese was beautifully melted! I should have asked for jam! But it was still good with the amount they smeared in it and the caramelized onions OMG!!! Our server was so nice and attentive! Makes me wish more people like her worked here in chicago! 😒 we sat outside. It was a modern place in a very small town! Right across from this restaurant is where Abraham Lincoln practiced when he was a lawyer (well the old building where he actually did burned down but a new one was erected in 1880 something which still stands) Stephen Douglas spoke here as well in the late 1800’s. The town is very small but very nice. Definitely coming back!!!

I stopped in for the Two-Trick Pony sandwich and tater tots tossed with garlic and parmesan. I washed it down with a Tito's Raspberry ice tea lemonade. Pretty good dinner. Jesse the bartender provided excellent customer service and recommendations. The CSP imprint on the bun was fun to see.

One of my favorite places to dine in at. Always good food. I'm a fan of the southwest chicken tacos. Can't go wrong with the jumbo pretzel for an appetizer either. Definitely recommend stopping in and checking it out.
